1. Purpose
These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator and users in connection with the use of "Flag Detective" (the "Service").
2. What the Service provides
- A 203-country flag collection with the detective penguin — flags by continent plus capital, language, greeting, landmark, animal, and food
- Clue-based learning of the meaning in each flag's colors and symbols
- Three quiz types (flag→name, name→flag, guess-the-continent) with difficulty levels and time attack
- A progress corner to review learning progress, stars, and records at a glance
- Three languages — Korean, English, Japanese (auto by device, or change in Settings)
The Service can be used without sign-up, and 30 countries are available free to learn and quiz. The full content is available via an in-app purchase (Section 3). It contains no ads or external tracking technologies.
3. Paid content & in-app purchases
- Detective Pro is a non-consumable item — a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks all 203 countries plus 3 quiz types, the hard difficulty, and time attack.
- Payment is processed by the Apple App Store, and the price is the amount shown in the store at the time of purchase.
- If you change devices or reinstall the App, you can use "Restore Purchases" with the same Apple account to regain access at no extra cost.
- In-app purchases proceed only after a simple confirmation step (a multiplication question) that prevents accidental purchases.
4. Withdrawal & refunds
Payment, cancellation, and refunds for in-app purchases are handled under the Apple App Store policies and Media Services Terms. The operator does not directly receive payment or process refunds; refund requests must be made through Apple.

5. Effect & changes to these terms
These terms take effect when posted within the Service or on this page. The operator may amend the terms where necessary within the bounds of applicable law, and will announce any changes via this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes constitutes agreement to the amended terms.
6. User obligations
- Comply with applicable laws, these terms, and any notices.
- Do not interfere with the Service (reverse engineering, automated access, generating abnormal load, circumventing payment or unlocks, etc.).
- In-app purchases require a simple confirmation step before payment; complete any purchase at your own discretion.
7. Privacy
Handling of personal data in the Service follows the separate Privacy Policy. The Service collects no member information, and records such as learning progress are stored on your device.
8. Changes & suspension of the Service
The operator may change or suspend part or all of the Service for operational or technical reasons, while making reasonable efforts not to affect the use of non-consumable items you have already purchased.
9. Disclaimer
- The operator is not liable where the Service is interrupted or data is lost for reasons not attributable to the operator, such as force majeure, communication failures, or device malfunction.
- The operator is not responsible for recovering data after a user deletes on-device data or removes the App (in-app purchases can be recovered via "Restore Purchases").
10. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute between the operator and a user regarding use of the Service, both parties will first seek to resolve it through consultation; failing that, a suit may be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
